Peter Schmeichel is one of the greatest athletes ever in Denmark - if not the greatest. He achieved enormous international respect and admiration for his brilliant effort as a goalkeeper regardless of which professional football club he was employed by. This makes good sense when looking at his endless list of championships and titles, which he has won during his career.

Several football experts have given Peter Schmeichel the label: The world's best goalkeeper ever! Especially his powerful winner instinct has given him an extremely colourful personality. A winner mentality, which gave him integrity on the field and ability to be goal-oriented and effective and yet he had the capacity to motivate the rest of the team.

After ending his glorious career, Peter Schmeichel is now host on one of the biggest football events, Champions League, which is broadcasted on TV3 in Denmark. Peter Schmeichel's part, as being a host on the TV programme, has contributed to the massive increase in number of viewers and the great success the programme is today. Furthermore, he is host on the world's biggest quiz show on TV called "1 against 100".
