2002/2003: German Champion with his former club, Borussia Düsseldorf.

2004: Winner of the prestigious Europa Top 12 in Frankfurt, Germany, defeating the world champion Werner Schlager, Austria.

Later that year he wins OL-bronze in mens double together with Finn Tugwell in Athens.

2005: Michael Maze made history together with the national team by becoming European Champion. And he got everyones attention by winning WC-bronze in mens single in 2005 in Shanghai, China.

2007: Michael Maze wins bronze at the European Championship in single.

2008: French Champion with his former club, Levallois Sporting Club and for the 3. time finalist in the Pro Tour Tournament (Poland).

2009: Europe Champion in single after 16 victories in a row at the EC in Stuttgart and silver medal in the Europe Championship for teams.
